WHAT’S HAPPENING IN THE ELGON WORLD?
All eyes pinned on May! Among the many activities, all the training courses in Italy and Latin America. Chile, Mexico and Costa Rica hosted the technical training tour and a new appointment of the collection-show “The Secret Garden”. Meanwhile, in Milan, the capital of fashion, the cameras started to shoot the “made in Elgon” Reality called H-Factor, the video experience eagerly awaited for months by the most talented hairstylists.
In the pipeline for next month: enrollments are being accepted for the intercompany seminar “Product in Deep” for Top Business Partners in Florence.
Among the other news, in Unipro, the Italian Association of cosmetic companies, Elgon’s CEO has been appointed member of the Executive Committee of the Group of Professional Products for Hairstylists. This will allow Elgon to be more and more active in the growth of the whole sector.
As for products, for May Elgon emphasizes the importance of its leading product of anti-age haircare, Primaria.

Courses & Shows in South America
On May 2nd the technical tour started in Mexico, to then continue in Costa Rica and conclude in Chile on May 20th. The training focus in South America was led by Elgon master technician Alessandro Cavazzini, who presented the latest product news and followed the show. This three-week course was targeted to the business partners’ technical heads. The catalyst event was the very successful show in Santiago with I Dama to present Elgon fashion trends to 600 participants.

H Factor Reality in Milan
Huge success for the Reality Talent Show held in Milan on May 22nd and 23rd. The " H Factor" is "that special talent which turns an ordinary hairstylist into a Star". Discovering this talent is the spirit in which Elgon designed the Reality. Two days of unmissable appointments to live a unique experience. The guest star was Enzo Miccio, host of TV programs “Wedding Planners” and “Ma come ti vesti?!”, who entertained Elgon hairstylists telling his experience in the world of style. H Factor was shot in the most fashionable places in Milan, ranging from Marc Jacobs’ store & cafè in Brera, to the Just Cavalli, the Triennale, the international design center, to the Hollywood in Corso Como. In the last day of the format, in the studio, the participants experimented various hair stylings. Followed by the famous London hairstylist group, Synergy Hair Lab, the H Factor people developed jobs on models drawing inspiration from the London Street Style. For further information click here |

Executive committee of the Group of Professional Products for Hairstylists, appointment for Serena Caimano
The Unipro offices in Milan hosted on April 19 the General Meeting of the Group of Professional Products for Hairstylists, where the new executive committee was appointed for the next three years. Serena Caimano, Elgon’s CEO, is among its new members.
The Committee underlines the major issues that, in line with the previous management, shall be pursued by the Group for the future: the upgrading of the hairstyling sector, training and counseling activities for professionals, focus on market phenomena and consumers’ behavior and last but not least, a further focus on the regulations on cosmetic manufacturing.

Product in Deep of the Elgon Academy
A new training experience dedicated to the Top Business Partners will take place on 7, 8 and 9 June in Florence, in the new prestigious seat of the Elgon Academy. During this event, participants will be presented with style and color news and exclusive previews on trends and Elgon’s fashion proposals for the next season.
